The Ministry of Reintegration has opened a round-the-clock hotline for residents of the Kursk region who need humanitarian assistance or want to evacuate to Ukraine. This was reported by the Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
Due to the possible deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the adjacent territories of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, Ukraine should be ready to receive Russian refugees, said Vereshchuk.
“Therefore, the Ministry of Reintegration has opened a round-the-clock hotline for residents of the Kursk region who need humanitarian assistance or want to evacuate to Ukraine,” she wrote.

Vereshchuk emphasised that Ukraine complies with all international humanitarian law and will provide civilians in the Kursk region with the necessary protection and humanitarian support.
What is happening in the Kursk region

For the seventh day in a row, fighting has been taking place in the border areas of the Kursk region. Russia has now introduced a counter-terrorism operation in three regions bordering Ukraine.
