Russia’s strike on Zaporizhzhia: the number of casualties and injured has increased

The Russian army attacked Zaporizhzhia on Friday, March 21, killing three people and injuring 12. This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov, the State Emergency Service, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
According to rescuers, three people were killed and 12 others injured as a result of the Russian attack. The number of victims is being clarified.
“The Russian attack killed three people, including a 14-year-old girl,” they said.
According to the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, a 41-year-old man and his 14-year-old daughter were killed in the Russian attack. Nine people were injured, including a nine-month-old baby. Infrastructure, a restaurant, an educational institution, cars, multi-story buildings, and private homes were damaged.
“The Russian army attacked Zaporizhzhia with twelve Shahed UAVs. As a result of hits on residential buildings, fires broke out and civilian infrastructure was destroyed. In total, six multi-storey buildings, a private house, a kindergarten building and a catering facility were damaged,” law enforcement officers said.

At 1 a.m. on March 22, the State Emergency Service announced that search and rescue operations had been completed.














As a result of the Russian attack, gas pipelines along the facades of the destroyed buildings were damaged, the press service of Zaporizhgaz reported.
“Crews are localizing gas leaks and carefully checking the gas network in the epicenter of the explosions. Currently, two high-rise buildings and several private houses are without gas supply,” the company said in a statement
