Russia attacked the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The city centre was left without electricity as a result of the attack. Currently, more than five streets are without electricity. This was reported by Prykarpattyaoblenergo and the head of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration Svitlana Onyshchuk, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
“As a result of a night attack by Russian drones, power grids were damaged in the Ivano-Frankivsk community,” Prykarpattyaoblenergo said in a statement.
The power company said that the central part of Ivano-Frankivsk is currently without power. These are Nezalezhnosti, Konovalets, Sichovykh Striltsiv, Stepan Bandera streets and some of the adjacent streets.
“Power company crews have already arrived to repair the damage, but it will take time to restore power supply. Consumers should take this into account,” the power company assured.
Onyshchuk added that part of Ivano-Frankivsk remained partially without power due to damage to a critical infrastructure facility.
“The fire that started at the site of the fall has been extinguished. Fortunately, there were no casualties,” she said.
As a reminder, a series of explosions also took place in Kyiv last night. Several shaheeds were flying over the city.
