The first school for operators of unmanned ground robotic systems is created in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

According to the decision of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrsky, the first school for training operators of unmanned ground robotic systems has been established on the basis of one of the training centers. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Komersant ukrainskyi informs.

With the assistance of the Dignitas Fund, the premises were repaired, the school was provided with equipment, and the fund’s instructors are already training future specialists. The soldiers are trained on about 10 different types of unmanned ground robotic systems – logistics, special, and engineering. Work is underway to scale the project.

According to Colonel Vitalii Dobrianskyi, Head of the Innovation Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, “the training of unmanned ground robotic systems operators is based on a clearly defined program with the acquisition of a relevant military specialty.”
