The chairman of the parliamentary tax committee, Danylo Hetmantsev, believes that the threshold for filing a customs declaration for parcels sent abroad should be raised to €1,000. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel, reports
According to the MP, he discussed the issue with business, postal and express carriers, as well as representatives of the NBU, the Ministry of Finance and the State Customs Service.
“Currently, businesses are obliged to file customs declarations for goods worth more than EUR 150. I believe it is appropriate to increase this threshold to EUR 1,000. This will reduce business costs and speed up logistics,”
