Russia destroys warehouse with $16 million worth of parts for “Shahed”

A warehouse where parts for Shahed-136 UAVs, which the aggressor uses to strike Ukraine, were stored burned down in Russia’s Alabuga economic zone. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.

According to the intelligence, there were 65 fuselages of attack drones, as well as engines, navigation equipment and thermal imaging cameras designed to produce 400 Shahed-136 drones. All this was destroyed by fire.

“The aggressor’s losses caused by the destruction of the Russian warehouse are estimated at $16 million. The mysterious destructive fire was another blow to the military-industrial complex of terrorist Russia,” the DIU emphasized.

On December 21, Russian military propaganda announced a drone attack on Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. Local authorities recognized the hit on an industrial facility.

Social media showed videos of airplane-type drones hitting the target. Local authorities reported that there were a total of eight arrivals, one of which hit an industrial facility. The Russian Ministry of Defense traditionally reported an allegedly repelled drone attack.

After the drone attack on Kazan, Russia imposed restrictions on flights at the airports of Kazan, Saratov and Izhevsk.
