“Reserve” launched online deferrals for parents with many children

Today, on November 20, another type of deferral was added to the Reserve app. This time, it can be used by parents with many children. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Defense Rustem Umerov, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
In particular, we are talking about families raising three minor children in a joint marriage.
“Now in the application “Reserve” it is possible to apply for a deferment from mobilization for parents with many children. This applies to families raising three minor children in a joint marriage,” Umerov said.
The Minister also noted that in the near future, the Reserve will be able to issue all types of deferments for parents with many children and other categories of citizens.
How to apply for a deferral for parents with many children in the “Reserve”
To apply for a deferment through the program, log in to “Reserve” and send a request for a deferment.
After that, the system will automatically check your status.
If you meet the requirements, information about the deferment will automatically appear in your electronic military record.
Who else can use the online deferment service in the Reserve
- people with disabilities who have a valid disability pension certificate;
- students, postgraduates and doctoral students who receive their education in a sequential order. For example, after obtaining a bachelor’s degree, they get a master’s degree. Or, after a master’s degree, they go on to a PhD program.
People with disabilities will receive a deferral for a year or until the end of their pension certificate. Students, postgraduates and doctoral students will receive a deferral until the end of martial law and mobilization.
How to use the service in “Reserve”
You need to log in to “Reserve” and send a request. The system will check whether the person is eligible for a deferment.
If so, this status will be reflected in the electronic military document.
As a reminder, the possibility of reserving employees liable for military service from mobilization was suspended on the Diia portal until November 15. As reported on the Diia website, this service has been closed due to the audit of the reserved persons liable for military service until 15.11.2024.
