The deferral service has been partially restored in “Reserve”

The deferral service has been partially restored in the Reserve mobile application. It was unavailable after an attack on state registries, Deputy Defense Minister for Digitalization Kateryna Chernogorenko wrote on her page, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
“The deferral service for parents with many children has been restored to the Reserve,” Chernogorenko wrote.
For the first time, electronic deferrals appeared in “Reserve” in November 2024. At the initial stage, they could be applied for by people with disabilities who have a pension certificate, as well as students, postgraduates and doctoral students.
In the future, it is planned that these services will become available to all categories of persons liable for military service who are legally entitled to a deferment.
How to apply for a deferment for parents with many children in the Reserve program
To apply for a deferment through the program, log in to Reserve and send a request for a deferment.
After that, the system will automatically check your status.
If you meet the requirements, information about the deferment will automatically appear in your electronic military record.
Who else can use the online deferment service in the Reserve
- people with disabilities who have a valid disability pension certificate;
- students, postgraduates and doctoral students who receive education in a sequential order. For example, after obtaining a bachelor’s degree, they get a master’s degree. Or, after a master’s degree, they go on to graduate school.
People with disabilities will receive a deferral for a year or until the end of their pension certificate. Students, postgraduates and doctoral students will receive a deferral until the end of martial law and mobilization.
