“Disinformation about the discovery of three fire centers on the territory of the Chornobyl nuclear power plant is being spread online. The operation to eliminate the consequences of the Russian drone attack continues on the territory of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant,” the ministry emphasizes.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, rescuers are currently recording only 3 centers of smoldering roof insulation, which were timely detected by drones with thermal imagers.

“We urge citizens not to disseminate unverified information and to trust only official sources of information,” the ministry added.
