Today, on 13 February, a fire broke out at the MiG plant in Moscow on Leningradsky Prospekt. It is reported by with reference to Russian media.
This plant provides full service – from design to repair – of the Kinzhal fighter carriers that are involved in strikes against Ukraine.
Preliminary data indicate that the fire started in a reconstructed workshop that was added to the existing building of the plant.
According to Telegram channels, the fire engulfed the second and third floors of the building, and the cause of the fire remains unknown. The area of the fire is 70 square metres.
The media of the occupying country also report that evacuations are underway.
There are currently no official reports on the fire at the important MiG plant in Moscow.
In recent weeks, oil depots and refineries have been burning in several regions of Russia. Also, the epicentre of the fires are factories related to the production of the Russian defence complex. In addition, the Russian capital is constantly being attacked by drones.
