The Ministry of Education and Science told how many students did not return to Ukraine on time

Up to 17% of the students who went on the student exchange program did not return to Ukraine on time. The Ministry of Education does not plan to cancel the opportunity to leave.
This was announced by Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Mykhailo Vynnytsky, Ukrinform reports , Komersant ukrainskyi.
“There is a significant number of students, which is 15-17% of those who went on academic mobility and did not return on time,” said Mykhailo Vynnytskyi.
According to him, we are talking about students aged 18-22 who are studying for a bachelor’s degree.
According to the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, this is not a critical figure to cancel opportunities for students to leave.
“In some universities, the figure is very high, while in others, almost everyone returns. We will appeal to the rectors of our universities that are part of the Erasmus consortia to have their commissions more carefully select those who go on mobility,” added Vynnytskyi.
