The Ministry of Finance told how much Ukraine’s debt increased in January

In January 2025, Ukraine’s public and publicly guaranteed debt increased by UAH 87.03 billion to UAH 7,068.00 billion.

This was reported by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.

It is noted that as of January 31, 2025, Ukraine’s state and state-guaranteed debt amounted to UAH 7,068.00 billion, or USD 168.99 billion. THE AMOUNT OF STATE AND STATE-GUARANTEED DEBT OF UKRAINE AMOUNTED TO UAH 7,068.00 BILLION, OR USD 168.99 BILLION.

During January 2025, the amount of state and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine increased by UAH 87.03 billion in the hryvnia equivalent and by USD 2.93 billion in the dollar equivalent. IN PARTICULAR, THE PUBLIC AND PUBLICLY GUARANTEED DEBT INCREASED BY USD 2.93 BILLION.

In particular, the state and state-guaranteed external debt amounted to UAH 5,141.34 billion (72.74% of the total), or USD 122.93 billion. The state and state-guaranteed domestic debt amounted to UAH 1,926.66 billion (27.26%), or USD 46.07 billion. THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF PUBLIC DEBT WAS USD 1,926.66 BILLION (OR USD 122.07 BILLION).

Ukraine’s public debt amounted to UAH 6,778.92 billion (95.91% of the total public and publicly guaranteed debt), or USD 162.08 billion. THIS AMOUNTED TO USD 162.08 BILLION.

The state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine amounted to UAH 289.08 billion (4.09%), or USD 6.91 billion. THIS AMOUNTED TO USD 1.9 BILLION.
