The Ministry of Finance told what the average salary in Ukraine is today

In 2024, the average salary in Ukraine increased to UAH 20,985. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Andriy Teliupa during a speech at the Center for Economic Strategy, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
The official drew attention to the fact that the average salary in dollars is a record in the history of independent Ukraine. However, this is not due to economic growth in the country, but to the shortage of labor during the war.
“Currently, the average salary in dollars is a record in the history of Ukraine. Demand is now higher than supply, which is causing salaries to rise in Ukraine,” said Teliupa.
The relevant ministry predicts that in 2025 the average salary in Ukraine will increase to UAH 24,389.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko announced that police salaries have not been indexed for two years and have not grown accordingly. Therefore, representatives of this profession are planning to raise their salaries. Today, the average salary in this area is UAH 34-36 thousand.
