On the morning of 4 September, powerful explosions were heard during an air raid in Lviv. The authorities reported that air defence was in operation, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
At 04:54, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, said that air defence was operating.
“We have air defence in Lviv region. We are not filming or posting anything!!!” – wrote Maksym Kozytskyi.
At around 05:15, powerful repeated explosions were heard in Lviv.
“Lviv! One more shakedown. Air defence is working,” added Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.
At 05:23, Maksym Kozytskyi warned of the threat of a “shahed” attack on residents of Dobrotvir and Pidkamin. At 05:38, Lviv residents were once again warned of the danger of high-speed targets.
At 05:46, loud explosions were heard in Lviv again.
Later, Sadovyi reported Kinzhal missiles on the territory of Lviv.
Before that, the Air Force reported ballistic missile launches. They were recorded in Chernihiv, Kyiv, and Zhytomyr regions.
It is also known that explosions were heard in Lutsk and Rivne.
