The state of bridges in Kyiv

In June 2023, the National Security and Defense Council decided to inspect bridges across the country, with the situation in Kyiv being particularly difficult.

Earlier, transport expert Dmytro Bespalov said that the capital’s Metro and Paton bridges were officially recognized as inoperable. According to him, even this status does not encourage local authorities to do anything about it.
