An evening in memory of actor Yakov Tkachenko to be held in Kyiv

on February 2, at 17:00, the Oscar cinema will host a memorial evening for theater and film actor Yakov Tkachenko, star of the films Dovbush, The Companions, Red, Inglorious Serfs, The Carrier, and Daddy’s Scratch, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.

Yakiv Tkachenko was a talented, extraordinary actor who was called a true knight of Ukrainian cinema. He became a true symbol of devotion and love for his work.

From the first days of the war, Yakiv went to defend the country as part of the TRO, and then joined the Third Assault Brigade. Unfortunately, on December 10, 2024, his life was cut short.

A few months before, Yakiv said in an interview:

“I can’t imagine my life without acting. And I am fighting, among other things, to be able to
to be able to do my favorite thing in peace.”

Unfortunately, he no longer has this opportunity.

This is another cruel loss for Ukrainian theater and cinema.

on February 2, the actor would have turned 46. On this day, his friends and
friends and colleagues – Irma Vitovska, Zaza Buadze, Alla Samoilenko, Serhiy
Derevyanko, Yegor Garmash, Olena Uzlyuk, Vlad Danilin, Dmitry Chernov, and other actors who are not working in the theater this evening
are not busy in theaters or on film sets that evening.
