Emergency power outages are in effect in Kyiv and two regions

Emergency power outages have been introduced in the capital, Kyiv and Dnipro regions.
This was reported by DTEK Group on Telegram, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
“At the command of Ukrenergo, emergency blackouts are being introduced in the city of Kyiv, Kyiv and Dnipro regions,” the statement said.
NPC Ukrenergo reported that emergency blackouts are applied in several regions, but did not name these regions.
“The reason for the tightening of restrictive measures is the consequences of Russian attacks on energy facilities. First of all, industrial consumers and businesses are being cut off,” the power system operator said.
Ukrenergo clarified that the power limitation schedules were introduced for industry.
“Restrictions for household consumers are not applied (except for emergencies in the networks of regional power companies. The situation in the power system may change. Follow the messages on the pages of distribution system operators (oblenergos),” the power system operator added.
