In February, the average monthly air temperature in the capital was recorded below the climatic norm.
This was reported by the Central Geophysical Observatory named after Borys Sreznevsky, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
According to the CGO, the average monthly air temperature in Kyiv in February was -3.7 °C, which is 1.4 °C below the climatic norm.
February was the first month with a negative deviation from the long-term average since May 2023 in the capital.
The coldest day in Kyiv was February 13, when the minimum temperature dropped to -12.3 °C in the morning, and the warmest was February 1, when the maximum temperature reached 6.4 °C in the afternoon.
