On Thursday, April 24, a temperature record of 27.4°C was recorded in Kyiv, which is 0.4°C higher than the previous record in 1950.


This was reported by the Borys Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory on Facebook, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

“According to the United Hydrometeorological Station of Kyiv, on April 24, a record of the maximum air temperature for this date was recorded in the capital,” the report says.


The air temperature reached 27.4°C in the afternoon, which is 0.4°C higher than in 1950.

In addition, a temperature record of 27.6°C was recorded in Mykolaiv on April 24, which is 1.3°C more than the previous record set 75 years ago.
