The Diia app has a new feature: a digital marriage proposal. Now you can propose to your soul mate online. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov, Komersant ukrainskyi
reports.
“Will you marry me” is already in Diia. The addition of a digital proposal to Diia is a great opportunity to surprise your soul mate, especially if you are long-distance or very fond of innovation,” he said.
How to propose in Diia:
- Select “Make an offer” in Diia and send a request to any messenger.
- If you receive a digital yes, you can share it on social media or, of course, with your family – a corresponding screen will appear in Diia.
“Use it, surprise your loved ones,” urged Fedorov.
A new service has recently become available to Ukrainians in the Diia mobile app for administrative services: they can now use it to get married.
The system will offer free dates for the ceremony via video link, but not earlier than five days before the event.
The marriage certificate will be automatically pulled up in Diia, and the couple can order the physical document by Ukrposhta delivery or pick it up at a Ukrposhta branch.
Couples can take the test if they are
- are adult citizens of Ukraine;
- have an identification code;
- ID-card or biometric passport in Diia;
- are single or officially divorced.
