Diya will elect members of the Eurovision Song Contest National Jury: how to vote

On March 24, voting for the national jury, which will evaluate the countries’ performances at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, began in the Diia app. This was announced on March 24 bySuspilne Broadcasting, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
“Do you want to influence who Ukraine will give its points to at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel? Then it’s time to take part in the poll and choose one of the members of the national jury! They will evaluate the performances of the countries and determine who will receive the precious points from Ukraine in the final of the contest,” the organizers of the voting note.
Who is applying for a place in the national jury
The list of candidates includes nine well-known Ukrainian musicians and experts:
- MÉLOVIN (singer);
- Tayanna (singer);
- Marko Galanevych (member of the band DakhaBrakha);
- Ruslan Makhov (film director);
- Kateryna Pavlenko (frontwoman of the band Go_A);
- Anatoliy Sachivko (choreographer);
- Natela Chkhartishvili-Zatsarinna (general producer of M1 and M2 music channels);
- Olena Shoptenko (choreographer);
- Dmytro Shurov (founder of the Pianoboy project).
How to take part in the voting
To influence the distribution of points from Ukraine in the final of the competition, you need to take part in the survey in Diia. To do this, you need to:
- Open the Diia app;
- Select the “Services” section;
- Go to the “Polls” category;
- Vote for one of the candidates.
How the winners will be determined
The five candidates who receive the most votes will be subject to final approval by the European Language Union.
“The five candidates with the most support and approved by the European Broadcasting Union will evaluate the performances of performers from other countries in the final of the song contest in Basel. The poll will run from March 24 to 10:00 on March 31,” the press release says.
These representatives will evaluate the performances of the participants in the final of Eurovision 2025 and determine who Ukraine will give its points to.
Voting is open until when
The poll is open until 10:00 on March 31. Anyone can participate and contribute to the formation of the jury that will represent Ukraine at the most popular music contest in Europe.
There are nine candidates to choose from.
The Ukrainian jury will consist of five candidates who have received the most votes.
What are Ukraine’s chances?
Ukraine will be represented at Eurovision 2025 by the band Ziferblat with the song “Bird of Pray”. At the moment, the Ukrainians are ranked 9th, having risen from 10th place. Bookmakers estimate their chances of winning at 2%.
It’s worth noting that the odds are constantly changing, and the final results can be completely unexpected. Therefore, the main intrigue will remain until the Eurovision 2025 final in May.

the 69th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in the Swiss city of Basel.
The semifinals will take place on May 13 and 15, 2025.
The Eurovision Grand Final will take place on Saturday, May 17.
