Unidentified persons fire at Russian military convoy in Chechnya

Unidentified persons opened fire on a military convoy in the suburbs of Grozny, the capital of the Chechen Republic of Russia. This was reported by Russian Telegram channels and media, in particular the Russian service of the BBC, reports Komersant UkrainianKomersant Ukrainian

According to the Rosgvardia, at least one soldier was killed and another was wounded.

Russian law enforcement agencies are trying to find and detain the attackers, Rosgvardia adds.

Chechen opposition telegram channels publish a video of what they claim is the aftermath of the shelling. They show a military vehicle with bullet marks, bloodstains on the road and the body of a dead man.

Telegram channels say that the attack took place around 12:00 in the village of Petropavlovskaya, Grozny district.
