Emergency power outages reintroduced in 4 regions

On the morning of February 4, emergency power outage schedules were introduced in a number of regions of Ukraine. Ukrainians are asked to consume electricity more responsibly. This is reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to DTEK, Kirovohradoblenergo and Sumyoblenergo.
At the command of Ukrenergo, emergency blackouts are being used again in Dnipropetrovs’k and Donetsk regions today.
“Emergency blackouts in Dnipropetrovska and Donetska oblasts. At the command of Ukrenergo, emergency blackouts are being applied again today in Dnipro and Donetsk regions. In case of changes, we will promptly inform you in our telegram channel,” the message says.

Emergency blackouts are also applied in Kirovohrad region. Kirovohradoblenergo noted that due to the simultaneous introduction of power outage schedules and emergency shutdowns, the time without electricity may be longer.

Sumyoblenergo reported that emergency outage schedules have also been introduced in Sumy region. According to Ukrenergo’s instructions, the SSS in Sumy region are in effect for the 1st stage.
“The queue for emergency outage schedules does not coincide with the queue for hourly outages. Hourly outage schedules do not apply,” the power company warns.
