Chargé d’Affaires of the United States arrives in Kyiv

Julie S. Davis, the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires in Ukraine, has arrived in Kyiv.
This was reported on the social network X by the US Embassy in Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“We are pleased to welcome Julie S. Davis, Chargé d’Affaires of the United States to Ukraine, to Kyiv,” the diplomatic mission said.
The purpose of the visit
The embassy added that following the signing of the historic Agreement on the establishment of the Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund, “Ambassador Davis arrived in Ukraine at a critical time to continue to implement President Trump’s policies aimed at ending the war and ensuring lasting peace and prosperity in Ukraine.”
on May 1, it became known that the US Embassy in Ukraine would be temporarily headed by Julie Davis.
Over the past 30 years, Ambassador Davis has held key positions, including her current position as U.S. Ambassador to Cyprus and her previous position as Ambassador/Special Representative for Belarus.
Previously, she served as Deputy Secretary of State, specializing in Western Europe and the European Union, and as Deputy Permanent Representative to NATO.
