About 10 million people in Ukraine are at risk of mild to severe mental disorders. This is what was stated by director of the WHO Regional Office for Europe Dr Hans Kluge, reports Komersant ukrainskyi
“One of the concerns about winter is the risk of an increase in mental health problems. We estimate that almost 10 million people in Ukraine are at risk of mental disorders, ranging from mild to severe,” Kluge said.
He added that as the third anniversary of the war approaches, such challenges are only growing, and the realisation that winter is approaching can only exacerbate the situation.
