Trump again accuses Zelenskiy and Biden of war in Ukraine

US President Donald Trump has once again blamed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his predecessor Joe Biden for the outbreak of war in Ukraine.
He wrote about this on his social network Truth Social, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
Trump called Russia’s war against Ukraine a “travesty,” and Zelenskyy and “crooked Biden” had “so many ways” to prevent it.
Trump himself allegedly has nothing to do with the war, although he is “working hard to stop the death and destruction.” According to him, during his first term, he “had no problem preventing the war” because Russian leader Vladimir Putin “and everyone else respected” him.
The American president also once again claimed election fraud in 2020, when he lost to Biden, adding that if he had been able to be re-elected, the war in Ukraine would never have happened.
Later, at a press conference with El Salvadoran President Naib Buchele in the Oval Office, Trump did name Putin as one of the perpetrators of the war in Ukraine.
“Millions of dead – because of three people. Let’s say Putin is number one. Let’s say Biden, who did not understand what he was doing, is number two. And Zelensky,” the American president said.
He also criticized the Ukrainian president’s desire to get military aid for his country.
“He always wants to buy missiles. When you start a war, you have to know that you can win. You don’t start a war against someone who is 20 times your size and then hope that people will give you some missiles,” Trump described Zelenskyy.
This is not the first time Trump has criticized the Ukrainian president. Previously, he called him a “dictator without elections” and said that Zelenskyy had only a 4% approval rating.
The day before, while speaking to journalists on board his plane, he had already said that the Russian-Ukrainian war was “Biden’s war.” At the same time, he said that Russia had “mistakenly” struck the center of the city of Sumy, where 35 people were killed.
