Trump expressed dissatisfaction with Putin and Zelensky: details from the White House

1 April 01:17

US President Donald Trump is unhappy with the statements of both Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This was stated by White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt.

Trump first criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin for questioning the credibility of Volodymyr Zelenskyy as a negotiating partner, saying he was “very angry, very angry” at the Kremlin leader.

But later, the US leader softened his tone toward Putin and instead turned his anger toward Zelenskiy, warning him that Ukraine would have “big, big problems” if he refused to sign the minerals deal.

Caroline Levitt assured that Trump is “making an incredible effort” to conclude a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine.

“And he expressed his dissatisfaction with the comments that were made by the leaders of both sides of this conflict. He expressed what he believes needs to happen in order for this conflict to end. He continues to work very hard on this, and our teams continue to work on this,” says Levitt.
