US President-elect Donald Trump, speaking to the press in Mar-a-Lago, said that the war between Russia and Ukraine is now “much more complicated” and could escalate further. Thus, the newly elected President of the United States hopes to end hostilities in our country in 6 months. This is reported by Sky News, Komersant ukrainskyi informs

“This war can escalate into a much more serious situation than it is now… I hope that we can end it in six months,” he said.

Trump also criticized the administration of current US President Joe Biden for its policy toward Ukraine. He said that such tactics could lead to an escalation of the situation.

“My view is that this has always been the understanding. In fact, I think they (Russia and Ukraine) had an agreement earlier. And then Biden broke it. They had an agreement that would have been satisfactory for Ukraine and everyone else,” he emphasized.

Answering journalists’ questions, Trump said that Russian President Vladimir Putin allegedly wants to meet with him. The newly elected American leader considers this inappropriate before his inauguration, which is scheduled for January 20.
