Democratic presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump have agreed on a debate to be held on 10 September on ABC. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to the ABC TV channel .
The channel said in a statement that both parties agreed to take part in the debate on 10 September.
“ABC News will host the presidential debate on 10 September. Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump have confirmed their participation,” ABC said in a statement.
CNN reported that Trump is “looking forward” to the debate with Harris. The politician assured that he had agreed on future debate dates: with Fox News on 4 September, with ABC on 10 September and with NBC on 25 September.
According to Trump, the “small details” are still being finalised, including the audience and venue.
Harris, in turn, confirmed her participation and said she would be “happy” to discuss further debates.
When asked if she would be open to other debates, as Trump has mentioned, Harris said: “I would be happy to have a conversation about additional debates after 10 September.”
