TOP 5 cars chosen by Ukrainians in January 2024

In January this year, Ukrainians bought more than 4,000 new cars. The Japanese brand Toyota has once again topped the new car market, reports 
with reference to Ukravtoprom.
It is indicated that in January 2024, almost 4.4 thousand new passenger cars were sold, which is 47% more than in January 2023.
“Compared to January 2021, the effective demand for new passenger cars is 24% behind. Almost the same sales volume was demonstrated by the market in January 2017,”
– the report said.
It is noted that the highest sales were recorded by the Japanese brand Toyota, which sold 764 cars. Compared to January last year, sales of new Toyota cars in Ukraine increased by 31%.
Renault was the second most popular brand with 504 cars sold, and Volkswagen was third with 476 cars sold. The rating also includes Skoda (312 cars) and Nissan (188 cars).
The top 10 brands of the month also included: Hyundai, Suzuki, Peugeot, Lexus and Mazda. It is noted that the best-selling car in January 2024 was the Renault Duster crossover, which found 479 buyers.
According to the results of 2023, almost 61 thousand new cars were sold in Ukraine for a total of more than UAH 105.5 billion
