Ternopiloblenergo ordered a luxury car with massage seats for UAH 3 million

on November 11, Ternopiloblenergo signed an agreement with Tascombank JSC for the financial leasing of a Skoda Superb car. The total value of the agreement is UAH 3.09 million. This information was published in the public procurement system Prozorro, Komersant ukrainskyiKomersant Ukrainian reports citing Nashi Hroshi.

A premium car

On a three-year lease, the company purchased a Skoda Superb B9 2.0 TSI 7 DSG 4×4 in the L&K 2024 configuration. The car is equipped with a 2-liter gasoline engine with 265 horsepower and an automatic transmission. The body has an Ice Tea Yellow Metallic color. The supplier of the vehicle is Avtotsentr-Kremenchuk-2012 LLC.

Specifications and additional options

The L&K package offers an extended set of features, including

  • active and passive safety systems, including airbags for the driver, passengers and center airbag
  • infotainment system with a 13-inch display
  • three-zone climate control;
  • adaptive cruise control;
  • canton sound system with 14 speakers;
  • comfortable seats with ventilation and massage;
  • electric trunk control with the “virtual pedal” function.

In addition to the basic equipment, the car will be equipped with an additional Family/Business package. It includes sunshades, a litter bin, headrests with additional functions, as well as a safety curtain and an interactive airbag.

In showrooms, the cost of such a model without additional options is about UAH 2.05 million.

Leasing terms and conditions

The outright cost of the car is UAH 2.20 million. Initially, the company will make the first payment of UAH 625 thousand. The total amount of interest for the lease is UAH 895 thousand, which makes the final cost of the car 41% more expensive than its original price. In total, Ternopiloblenergo will pay UAH 3.05 million for the vehicle.

Tender procedure and participants

JSC TASKOMBANK was awarded the contract without competition, as no one else applied for the open tender.

The bank is owned by Serhiy Tihipko, a former member of the Ukrainian parliament. The car is supplied by Avtotsentr-Kremenchuk-2012, a company owned by Pavlo Glukhov, Serhiy Korenev, Yuriy Rudenko, Maksym Ostapyuk, Vladyslav Rudenko and Serhiy Ostapyuk.

Ternopiloblenergo

Volodymyr Humen is the acting CEO of Ternopiloblenergo, so it is likely that he is going to drive this car. Since 2023, 51% of the company’s shares have been owned by the state-owned Ukrainian Distribution Networks JSC, which is subordinated to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine. Another 25% of the shares are controlled by the Cypriot company Bikontia enterprises limited, which is part of the group of businessman Konstantin Grigorishin.
