NBU Governor Pyshnyi’s wealth: record salary, unfinished palace, loan to his wife

Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Andriy Pyshnyi has filed his income declaration for 2023, which revealed his record salary as the NBU Governor, reports
Thus, last year, Pyshnyi earned UAH 7,547,388 at his main job at the National Bank. That is, on average, he earned UAH 628,949 per month. This is an absolute record in terms of salary among all the NBU governors who came before him. For example, his predecessor Kyrylo Shevchenko earned an average of UAH 475 thousand per month.
If we add up all the assets owned by Pyshnyi and his wife, the couple has a total of UAH 4 million, over USD 500 thousand, and EUR 72 thousand. They are actively involved in financial transactions and lend money to various limited liability companies. The declaration even includes UAH 10.6 million that Pyshnyi lent to his wife. The couple also owns securities from the Ministry of Finance worth UAH 17.1 million.
The Pyshnykhs own two apartments of 164 and 248 sq m, land plots of 2,700 sq m and an unfinished house of 891 sq m in the village of Lebedivka in the Kyiv region.
The Pyshnias drive two cars: A 2012 Mercedes-Benz S500 and a 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser 3.3 Twin Turbo 10. They estimate the older car at UAH 150 thousand, and the newer one at UAH 2.5 million.
The Pyshnykhs are also connoisseurs of expensive watches, diamond jewellery and artworks.
