The dates of the auctions for the sale of Sumykhimprom and Ukrbud have been announced

Auctions for the large-scale privatization of JSC Sumykhimprom and JSC Ukrbud Construction Company have been announced in the state electronic trading system Prozorro.Sale.
This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
It is noted that the auction for the privatization of Sumykhimprom will take place on June 11, and the auction for the sale of Ukrbud is scheduled for June 18, 2025.
The cost of Sumykhimprom at the auction starts at almost ₴1.2 billion. The company is based in Sumy and produces fertilizers and nitrogen compounds. As of the end of 2024, the company had debts of over ₴3.4 billion.
The initial value of Ukrbud is over ₴262.6 million. The company is located in the capital and is engaged in the construction of residential and non-residential facilities. At the end of 2024, the company had debts of almost ₴8.5 million.
The conditions for the sale of both companies are the repayment of wage and budget arrears within six months, the preservation of core activities, a ban on dismissal of employees for six months, and the transfer of dividends for 2024 to the state budget.
The new owner of Sumykhimprom must also pay off its debt to the Pension Fund and invest at least UAH 150 million in the modernization of the enterprise.
As reported, the first electronic bidding for large-scale privatization took place in September 2024. Since then, there have been three successful auctions worth more than ₴8.3 billion.
