The United States threatened Russia at the UN for violating its commitments

The United States will not tolerate bad faith negotiations to end the war or violations of the ceasefire in Ukraine. This was stated by US Ambassador Dorothy Shea during a speech at a UN Security Council briefing on Ukraine, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
She expressed condolences to the families of those killed in the strike on Kryvyi Rih, noting that the ballistic missile had a cluster warhead.
The ambassador recalled that Washington had offered Kyiv and Moscow a comprehensive ceasefire. The Ukrainian side agreed to this proposal, but the Russians insisted on a ceasefire on energy infrastructure and in the Black Sea. Ukraine agreed to this as well.
She emphasized that in order to achieve peace, both Ukraine and Russia must fully implement the ceasefire commitments they made in Riyadh:
“We call on Russia and Ukraine to fulfill their commitments. The world is watching. We call on both sides to exercise restraint and demonstrate that their commitment to peace is real. In particular, we call on Russia to remember that strikes like the one on Kryvyi Rih and executions of prisoners of war can harm peace efforts and all discussions that depend on them,” she said.
