The United States and Russia have entered into separate negotiations on the further course of the war behind Ukraine’s back. This opinion was expressed by military expert Oleg Zhdanov in an exclusive commentary to Komersant ukrainskyi

We asked the expert what can explain the current lull in Russian missile attacks on Ukraine, as the last one was a few days ago. Also, most Ukrainians have not heard air raids for several days.
The expert explains this by saying that right now, behind our backs, the Russians are negotiating with the Americans.
“I think that the Russians have quieted down because negotiations are underway. Separate negotiations between the US and Moscow. Because, according to some reports, one of the top officials of the Russian Federation was in Washington and negotiated the settlement of our conflict. Unfortunately, behind our backs.
