Ukrainian Armed Forces drive occupants out of Krasnohorivka near Donetsk

The Third Assault Brigade has driven the Russians out of Krasnohorivka in Donetsk region. The Third Assault Brigade reported this on Telegram, Kommersant Ukrainian reports
The day before, the occupiers attacked the southeastern part of the city and entered it.
“In order to prevent the enemy from gaining a foothold, the units of the Third Separate Assault Brigade, the fighters of the 1st and 2nd assault battalions carried out a combat operation to clear the city of enemy forces,”
– the statement said.
The brigade said that in a short period of time, the enemy managed to prepare for a long defence, and despite resistance and heavy fighting, the brigade’s assault groups inflicted unavoidable losses on the enemy – about 100 occupants of the “200th” and “300th”.

“The Russians refused to surrender and were eliminated in the houses they occupied. As of now, Krasnohorivka is under the control of Ukrainian troops!”
– noted the Third Shtumovyi.
Maksym Zhorin, deputy commander of the Third Assault Brigade, also wrote about the success of the Defence Forces in Krasnohorivka.
“The Third Assault Brigade knocked out the enemy, cleared Krasnohorivka and prevented them from advancing further in this settlement. At the moment, the Russians have no strength and desire to advance in this village,”
– he said.
