Ukrainians can get 10,800 from the UN: what documents are needed

Internally displaced persons in Ukraine have the opportunity to receive financial support from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), according to with reference to the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.
The envisaged amount of assistance is UAH 10,800.
This initiative is aimed at supporting those who have not previously received assistance from international organisations and have an income per family member of less than UAH 5,400, with a particular focus on vulnerable groups.
Who is eligible to receive assistance
The main categories of families eligible for this assistance are
- have only one parent with one or more children under the age of 18 or with elderly people (55 years and older);
- are headed by a single or several single elderly people (55 years and older) or an elderly person with one or more children under the age of 18;
- have family members with disabilities or chronic illnesses;
- take care of unaccompanied children or children separated from their parents.
Documents required
To receive assistance, you must submit:
- An identity document;
- Identification code for making financial payments;
- Evidence of vulnerability (certificates, extracts, etc.);
- Birth certificates of children, if any;
- Bank account details;
- Contact phone number.
