Kosyno checkpoint will be temporarily closed today: what you need to know

on March 18, the Kosyno checkpoint on the border with Hungary will temporarily suspend operations. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
According to the service, the checkpoint will be closed from 12:00 to 16:00. This is due to the connection of an uninterruptible power supply system.
“Kosyno-Barabash is an international automobile checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, located in Berehove district of Zakarpattia region. It specializes in servicing passenger cars. Buses are not allowed through this checkpoint.
Due to its proximity to the Kosyno thermal springs, the checkpoint is popular among tourists traveling between Ukraine and Hungary.
It should be noted that the Shehyni checkpoint on the border with Poland is temporarily operating in a slower mode in the cargo direction due to reconstruction.
Changes in the operation of the checkpoint will be in effect from March 13 to May 10.
