How many North Koreans died in Kursk region: the number was announced

23 December 21:43

The number of killed and wounded North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region exceeds 3,000. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote about this on his Telegram channel on December 23.

The Ukrainian leader, who held a meeting on Monday, heard a report from the Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi on the front and areas of the Kursk operation.

“There are risks of sending additional soldiers and military equipment to the Russian army from North Korea, and we will have tangible responses to this,” the president said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy reminded that the risk of destabilization around the Korean Peninsula and in neighboring regions and waters is increasing in proportion to the growth of cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang. The transfer of modern warfare experience and the spread of military technology from Russia is a global threat. For the world, the price of restoring stability is always much higher than the price of effective pressure on those who destabilize the situation and destroy lives.

It should be noted that a little earlier, the combat capability of the Koreans in the Kursk region (Russia) was questioned by the Commander of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ihor Skybyuk.

According to Ihor Skybyuk, if it is 10 thousand soldiers, it is a “resource” for no more than 10 days. In general, the Koreans in the Kursk region testify to only one thing.

“The crisis. I think they had to negotiate this in difficult conditions, making concessions, giving some bonuses, humiliating themselves frankly. The combat capability of these military units is quite questionable, given the specifics of North Korea. We will see what they are worth,” noted Skybyuk.

Meanwhile, the Russian military command on the ground is trying to hide from the world the fact that the North Korean military is present in Russia. In particular, soldiers from the DPRK are issued military cards on the forms of the Russian Armed Forces. Sometimes they lack stamps, and the names of the soldiers are changed to Russian. However, this falsification was unsuccessful, because the DPRK military put their signatures on these “documents” in Korean characters.
