How much will a biometric passport cost in 2025

In 2025, prices for biometric documents will increase significantly. The State Migration Service of Ukraine has warned about this, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
The reason is that the printing plant “Ukraine” has changed the cost of forms of certain biometric documents. In this regard, the total cost of issuing a passport of a citizen of Ukraine in the form of an ID card, a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad, as well as temporary and permanent residence permits in Ukraine, has also increased.
How much will biometric documents cost in 2025 in Ukraine
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine (ID-card) for the first time – free of charge;
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine (ID-card) for up to 20 working days – UAH 558
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine (ID-card) up to 10 working days – UAH 928;
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad up to 20 working days – UAH 1042;
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine for traveling abroad up to 7 business days – UAH 1682.
However, Ukrainian citizens who have paid for administrative services and submitted applications for documents before 31.12.2024 will receive documents at the old price. However, Ukrainians who have paid for administrative services before 12/31/2024 but have not yet submitted an application for documents will be able to pay an additional fee at the rates in effect at the time of submission of the relevant applications.
In addition, according to the State Migration Service of Ukraine, the cost of issuing several other documents will increase. We are talking about residence permits in Ukraine. A permanent residence permit will cost UAH 1,175, while a temporary residence permit will cost UAH 1,080.
