They were looking for locations of the Armed Forces and spying on hospitals: Russian agents detained in Kyiv and Rivne

The Security Service of Ukraine has detained two men in Kyiv and Rivne who were preparing coordinates for Russian missile and drone strikes.
This was reported by the SBU, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
The detainees are a 24-year-old handyman from the capital and a 32-year-old deserter who was hiding in the west of the country.
The main task of these adjusters was to find and pass on to the Russian invaders the locations of the third assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They also had to get the coordinates of military hospitals and other medical facilities where wounded defenders were being treated.
The agents acted separately from each other, but were coordinated by one supervisor from the occupation “Office of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in Crimea and Sevastopol”. The latter’s personal data has already been established.
Following the instructions of a Russian special agent, the offenders tried to find military facilities and determine the presence of personnel there.
The suspects bypassed the “necessary” targets, pretending to talk on the phone. In reality, they were filming location-based video. For conspiracy, they used two gadgets: one to record the locations of objects, and the other to contact the curator through anonymous chats in the messenger.
SBU cyber specialists exposed the agents in advance and took comprehensive measures to secure the locations of the Defense Forces.
At the final stage of the special operation, both suspects were detained simultaneously while spying near military facilities. Cell phones with evidence of work for the FSB were seized from the detainees.
Investigators served the suspects suspicion notices under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – high treason committed under martial law.
The suspects are in custody. They face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
