Shmyhal spoke about the results of the work of expert teams during the reform of the MSEC

So far, 1440 expert teams that assess human functioning have made decisions regarding 90 thousand people.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting on March 25, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.

“Currently, 1440 expert teams are assessing daily functioning. Decisions have already been made regarding 90 thousand people. The reform continues. The involved ministries and agencies have their own area of responsibility, work in a coordinated manner and fulfill their tasks,” he said.

The goal ofthe reform
The Prime Minister reminded that the reform of the MSEC provides for the change of the outdated bureaucratic inefficient system.

“The government’s goals are to restore people’s health, enable them to work, support themselves and their families, and provide social assistance to those who really need it,” the Prime Minister said.

As a reminder, starting from January 1, 2025, disability status will be determined based on an assessment of a person’s daily functioning, i.e. the impact of an injury or illness on daily activities.
