“Top Chef” semi-joined the Armed Forces: they started with a photo shoot

21 May 13:29

Hector Jimenez-Bravo, known to the general public for his role as a judge in the MasterChef Ukraine project, has been “spotted” on social media in a military uniform, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

Thus, on Instagram, the chef posted a photo shoot with the Achilles unit, in which he poses, holds a UAV remote control, and shoots a pistol.

However, the man has not yet finally mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces. He has just completed training.

“I know that many public and media outlets have already written that I have mobilized… So I have to clarify. As a foreigner, I could have joined a foreign legion, but my heart has long belonged to @achilles_429regiment. This is a unit whose fighters I have been supporting for a long time, so I have now completed a special training with them,”

– wrote the chef.

So far, he is trying to understand “how the regiment functions, what problems arise, and what are the ways to solve them,” and then, according to him, Jimenez-Bravo will perform “representative” functions in the regiment:

“In the future, I will represent the @achilles_429regiment, participate in the activities of the unit to which the command will involve me, and, of course, do my best to help with the supply.”

These functions, however, will not prevent him from living a civilian life.

“This does not mean that I will completely disappear from civilian life. However, my focus will now be directed to the place where it is really important for all those who want Our Victory to be seen! And yes, MasterChef and I will be in it) It’s just that now I will be more often with @achilles_429regiment, with those who are defending our present and future,”

– jimenez-Bravo summarized.
