President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has revealed whether he has a “backup” plan for victory if the current one is rejected by US President Joe Biden. He said this said 20 September during a press conference with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, reports Komersant ukrainskyi

“As for our plan. You know, yesterday a journalist asked me a question and said: what happens if President Biden does not support your plan? Do you have a plan B? I frankly answered in no uncertain terms that we are already in Plan B. We are living and fighting in it,” Zelenskyy said.
The Ukrainian leader explained that “Plan A” for Ukraine should have been developed much earlier. And its result should have been the impossibility of the Russian Federation crossing the border of our country.
“Plan A was to strengthen Ukraine with weapons and preventively sanction Russia so that it would be afraid of even the thought of a full-scale invasion. Therefore, we are already in this plan, and we exist and live in it,” Zelensky added.
The President of Ukraine also suggested that official Washington may have its own plan to resolve the armed conflict in Ukraine. Zelenskyy expressed a desire to get acquainted with this document if it exists in reality.
