After a visit to Russia by Mister Size brand director Jan Vincenz Krause, Ukrainian sex shops refused to sell condoms from the company. This is stated in a statement by Lovespace, Komersant ukrainskyi reports

“We would like to inform you that we are withdrawing Mr. Size condoms from sale due to the trip and participation (and ridicule) of the brand’s founder in the EROEXPO conference in Russia,” the statement reads.

The founder of the space, Taras Krupa, said he had spoken with Krause about this. In a personal conversation, he explained that “it was nothing personal, and all Russians want the war to end.”

“He visited Russia, and everything is fine. No one raped him, and he is personally fine. It means that the rest of us are not so clear-cut,” Krupa said.

The businessman also claimed that he was not cooperating with Russia, but with Estonia.

“He explained that he does not work with Russia, but with Estonia, in short, he leaked his Estonian readings to Russian counterparties. I understand that condoms are not taken seriously, because they are not dual-use goods, not weapons. But the fact is that today the owner of the German company Mister Size makes a post and promotes his business in Moscow, and tomorrow another owner, for example, a candy machine manufacturer, and the day after that a drone engine manufacturer, unfortunately, this is how it works,” Krupa said

The sex shop “I want to play” also reported the withdrawal of Mister Size condoms from sale.

“I want to play no longer sells Mister Size condoms. The founder of the brand visited Russia, where he actively promoted the products at a local exhibition. It is unacceptable to cooperate with a brand that is friendly to the aggressor country,” the statement said.

The company said it was preparing an appeal to the brand to explain the situation and publicly apologize to Ukrainians.
