SBU detains 19 mobilisation disruptors across Ukraine (photos)
25 October 16:15The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police have exposed 19 people who tried to disrupt mobilisation in Ukraine through Telegram channels. This was reported by Komersant Ukrainian with reference to the Security Service of Ukraine.
The defendants also filmed provocative streams and spread fake reports about the Ukrainian military, including representatives of the TCC. The criminals operated throughout Ukraine.
In Khmelnytskyi region, 14 suspects publicly called on persons liable for military service to evade mobilisation. They published the locations and routes of movement of representatives of the CCC and the National Police. To spread the content, they administered dozens of groups on Telegram and Viber messengers.
In Kyiv, four residents of the capital published geolocations of mobile checkpoints in Kyiv region in Telegram chats. To disguise their criminal actions, the offenders created anonymous accounts on the messenger under fake nicknames.
In Vinnytsia region, a 30-year-old draft evader will be tried who, in addition to hiding from the draft, also campaigned via messengers to imitate him.
SBU investigators have already served five of the detainees with a notice of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces and other military formations). The offenders face up to 8 years in prison.
