Santa crossed the border: SBGS congratulated Ukrainians on New Year in an original way

The State Border Guard Service (SBGS) has published a video wishing a Happy New Year. In the video, they showed how Santa Claus crossed the Ukrainian border. This was reported on the Facebook page of the State Border Guard Service, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
Ukrainian border guards recorded Santa Claus crossing the border and officially announced his arrival.
“It’s official! The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports: Santa has crossed the border,” the border guards said in a post.
A video of the border guards recording the moment of the border crossing was also released.
According to the official version, the NORAD Tracks Santa program was born on December 23, 1955, when a child who wanted to learn about Santa Claus confused two digits in a phone number and called the Center for Continental Air and Space Defense Command. After that, starting in 1958, the military pledged to inform about Santa Claus’s movements every year.
In 2024, Santa Claus began his route on the morning of December 24. He took off around 12:00 from his residence at the North Pole to deliver Christmas gifts around the world. Santa travels on his magic sleigh pulled by nine reindeer.
According to the NORAD Tracks Santa program, he has already completed his route, handing out more than 8 billion gifts.
