Ukrainian online retailer ROZETKA is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and on this occasion, the company presented its first pop-up store, which opened in Kyiv at the Third Breath exhibition. This was announced by its co-founder Vladislav Chechotkin in his Facebook post, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
This creative space was originally planned as a place to sell branded goods such as T-shirts and toys. However, in response to the large flow of visitors and their needs, the pop-up shop quickly transformed into a coffee shop.
Vladislav Chechotkin explained this decision as follows:
“In one day and one night, the pop-up shop, which was supposed to have shelves for T-shirts and toys, turned into a ROZETKA cafe. It offers coffee, lemonades, ice cream, croissants, sandwiches, and desserts.”
This step was a response to a request from the exhibition organizers, who asked to provide visitors with water and snacks due to long queues.

It is worth noting that the format of ROZETKA coffee shop was developed by the company’s employees as part of the Mini MBA internal educational program. This demonstrates the company’s flexibility and innovative approach to developing new business areas.

The pop-up store will operate as a coffee shop until May 26, after which it will go on tour to nine cities of Ukraine with an important project, the details of which have not yet been disclosed.
What is the Mini MBA program?
This is a short-term intensive course that covers the basics of the classic MBA (Master of Business Administration) program. It is designed for those who want to acquire management knowledge and skills but do not have the time or need to complete a full two-year program.
Key features of the Mini MBA:
- Duration: usually from several weeks to several months.
- Content: includes topics in management, finance, marketing, strategy, HR, and leadership.
- Target audience: middle managers, entrepreneurs, and professionals seeking to move into management positions.
- Format: online or offline, often in the form of workshops, case studies, and lectures.
In the case of ROZETKA, the mention of Mini MBA indicates the existence of an internal educational initiative that gives employees the opportunity to develop business ideas and skills in a structured format, which has a positive impact on innovation in the company.
