Russian and Belarusian tennis players have been allowed to participate in the 2024 Olympics and Paralympics in neutral status. This was announced by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), Kommersant Ukrainian reports
“The International Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee will allow qualified and eligible athletes with Russian and Belarusian passports to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics as individual neutral athletes (AIN) and the Paralympics as neutral Paralympic athletes (NPA),” the statement said,

The ITF confirms that tennis players from these countries will be allowed to participate in Olympic and Paralympic tennis events as individual and neutral athletes if they comply with the IOC AIN principles and the IPC NPA principles.
Neutral athletes will be required to meet the selection and eligibility requirements set out in the applicable ITF Rules.
“The ITF’s decision is in line with the majority of International Federations (IFs) for individual events and athletes participating in the Paris 2024 Games this summer. The ITF’s position is also in line with the existing international tennis policy, which was adopted in March 2022,”
