On Sunday, 1 September, the Russian military attacked Kharkiv: people were injured and infrastructure facilities were damaged. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with citing to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
The Russian Armed Forces hit the city with missiles about 10 times. The enemy fired S-300/400 and Iskander missiles from Belgorod and Rostov region (Russia).
One of the strikes hit a private housing area. Several yards and a supermarket are on fire. There are victims, including doctors. One of the doctors is in a serious condition.
A series of strikes hit Saltivsky and Nemyshlyansky districts of the city. Among the damaged infrastructure as a result of enemy air strikes are a shopping centre, a sports facility, and residential buildings.
So far, 22 people have been reported injured. Most of them live in the Saltovsky district of Kharkiv.
As a reminder, on 30 August , the Russian military dropped several bombs on Kharkiv. As a result, at least five people were killed, and residents’ homes and cars were damaged. Among the dead was a minor child.
